Vonnie is an Alaska artist who ventured from Baltimore, Maryland 47 years ago. Her garage floor is her easel and it holds the canvases onto which she spatters, sprays, drips and throws many vibrant colors of acrylic paint. Sometimes the paint forms a recognizable image and others times it reflects her inner self. Most of her paintings are spontaneous but she has taken on commission work. Now retired from an 8 to 5 job, her painting is her mission. Vonnie's dream is to become a national/international artist showing in galleries outside of Alaska, and she is well on her way, having painted hundreds of images and sold countless numbers of originals and prints. It is through her art that she finds peace.
